Part-Time Firefighter

Responsibilities
Under general supervision, controls and extinguishes fires, conducts search and rescue missions, responds to medical emergencies, and administers life saving measures. Responds to medical and fire emergencies, treats patients, operates a variety of fire apparatus and vehicles, assists in the investigation of fires, participates in equipment testing and training activities, and compiles and maintains reports and records.
Qualifications
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS Texas Department of State Health Services EMT-Basic Certification Texas Commission on Fire Protection Basic Structural Firefighter Certification Traffic Incident Management Program Courage to Be Safe Program NIMS ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License with the ability to obtain a Class B Exempt license within 180 days (6 months) from date of hire.
