Responsibilities

• Inspection of FA and PPAP products and the associated reporting • Work with Production and Engineering staff to ensure that all FA and PPAP products meet the expectations of the customer prior to shipment • Identification reporting and troubleshooting of nonconforming product • Training of quality expectations to personnel when changes or updates to the inspection process have been made • Assists with the plant wide communication of Quality Alerts or Quality concerns • Has the authority to stop production when nonconforming parts are detected • Assist Quality Auditors and other functions of the Quality Department as needed • Adherence to the Quality Policy and expectations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required • 2-3 years of experience in a related Quality Function • Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) a plus • The individual must have a solid understanding of metal fabrication concepts and processes • The individual must possess a keen sense of attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Must be able to determine material types and gauges • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints • Must be able to navigate in a Windows based computer environment • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
