Seguin is served by two independent school districts: Seguin Independent School District and Navarro Independent School District. Both districts are home to award-winning schools and innovative programs that help students meet their goals and achieve their dreams.

Seguin Independent School District

Seguin ISD is the largest school district in Guadalupe County and encompasses 365 square miles. It serves 7,440 pre-kindergarten through twelfth-grade students and employs 1,138 total staff and 525 teachers. Seguin ISD is large enough to offer a wide variety of academic and extracurricular opportunities, yet small enough to help each student develop full potential in a caring, supportive learning environment. The District is home to 13 campuses including one pre-kindergarten, seven K-5 elementary schools, two middle schools, one 5A high school plus a non-traditional high school learning center and a discipline alternative campus. Seguin ISD and all of its campuses received the "Met Standard" designation by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) based upon the state's most recent accountability rating.

Navarro Independent School District

Navarro ISD's boundaries cover approximately 86 square miles surrounded by the communities of Seguin, New Braunfels, and San Marcos. The district provides an intensive instructional program to over 1900 students and is comprised of one high school, one junior high school, one intermediate school, and one elementary school. Navarro ISD offers a small-school atmosphere with a rigorous curriculum and a supportive staff that promotes high quality academic and extracurricular achievement. Navarro High School earned a Bronze Medal Ranking from a US News and World Report, ranking it among the Best high Schools in the Nation for college preparation and state assessment achievement. Navarro Intermediate School is named as a Texas Honor Roll School for demonstrating consistently high levels of academic achievement.
