Many manufacturers and Fortune 500 manufacturing companies have established major operations in Seguin, including Caterpillar, Inc., Vitesco Technologies, Commercial Metals Corporation (CMC), Tyson Foods, Inc., The Interplast Group – Minigrip, Alamo Group, Georgia Pacific and Hexcel. To match the employment needs of these companies, the Seguin area has over 4,000 manufacturing jobs, which is more than three times the national average, and 30% of Seguin’s workforce is employed in the manufacturing industry.
