Construction on $75 million Seguin pipe manufacturing plant to kick off in March

Construction on a $75 million manufacturing plant in Seguin is expected to begin in March. The $75 million facility from Japan-based Maruichi Stainless Tube Co. LTD was first announced in September 2022.
More and more manufacturing concerns have chosen to set up shop in the space along the I-35 corridor and the surrounding communities. When the plant comes online — which is expected in February 2024 — it will provide about 100 jobs to the area. The firm produces seamless, stainless-steel pipes and tubes.
