Outdoor Activities

Seguin enjoys good weather year-round, making it possible to enjoy outdoor activities, regardless of what month it is.

The City of Seguin is home to 12 parks totaling 379.9 acres. The City's largest park is Max Starcke Park, totaling 227-acres along the scenic Guadalupe River. The park offers a 18-hole golf course carved out of a riverside pecan grove, wave pool, natural fishing area, paddling trail, disc golf course, walking trail (0.8 miles), tennis, basketball and volleyball courts. For children, there is a Kids Kingdom Playscape and the Little League baseball-softball complex. For dogs, there is Barky Park where water and dog baggies are conveniently provided. Pavilion and picnic areas are also available throughout the park as well.

Families and children enjoy spending time in the city's newest park, Park West where teens can practice tricks on the off-road bicycle trail or at MTR Skatepark, tots can get wet at the Splash Pad, kids can zip down slides and parents can play a game of basketball or take a run on the trail.

Those looking for a quieter afternoon can head over to Walnut Springs Park where there are beautiful walking paths featuring sculptures created by local artists or they can choose from the selection of Real Tours offered throughout the Seguin community.

With plenty of sunshine and beautiful days, there is plenty of fun to have in Seguin.
