Seguin Economic Development Corporation and the Seguin Main Street Program host the Real Connections – Small Business Resource Fair

Seguin, TX – The Seguin Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) along with the Seguin Main Street Program partnered to host the first ever, Real Connections – Small Business Resource Fair. This free event took place on Thursday, June 14, 2018, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Texas Theatre located at 425 N. Austin Street, Seguin, Texas 78155. 

The Real Connections – Small Business Resource Fair was designed to provide Seguin area business owners, managers and entrepreneurs with timely, relevant, actionable advice to assist them in establishing, operating, sustaining and growing their businesses. Over 15 different service providers were in attendance to highlight the services they can provide to small businesses at no-cost. In addition, guests heard from a variety of local experts as they shared their insight and experiences in the world of small business ownership.

“We are very excited to partner with the Seguin Main Street Program to host the first ever Real Connections – Small Business Resource Fair,” said Josh Schneuker, Executive Director of the Seguin Economic Development Corporation. “Being a small business owner is no easy task. It takes hard work, commitment and an understanding of the resources available to help you succeed. We are looking forward to highlighting the resources that Seguin and the state of Texas have to offer small business owners again in the future.” 

Over 30 Local entrepreneurs and business owners were in attendance and enjoyed complimentary breakfast tacos prepared by local small businesses, networked with every resource provider and listened to a dynamic panel discussion on real advice from Seguin's most successful small businesses.
