Seguin Economic Development Corporation and Seguin Main Street bring back the Real Connections Small Business Resource Fair

Seguin, TX – Starting a small business takes research, smarts and self-confidence and a measure of fearlessness. You’ll ask yourself: Do I have enough money? The right equipment? Am I getting the best advice? Good Question, The Seguin Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) and Seguin Main Street have rounded up some essential resource providers that can give you all the insights on starting a business, creating a solid business plan, how to get financing, structuring and more.

On behalf of Small Business Week, on May 9, 2019, the SEDC and Main Street have partnered to bring you the Real Connections; Small Business Resource Fair. The event will be located at the Texas Theatre located at 425 N Austin St, Seguin, TX 78155 and will run from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

The purpose of the fair is to offer small business owners in-person access to representatives from all resource providers. Whether you are an entrepreneur in the start-up phase or a small business in a growth mode, a business resource fair is designed to have the right solutions for everyone.

"We are looking forward to hosting our second annual small business resource fair. We feel it is important to provide our existing businesses and potential new businesses with educational opportunities that will assist them in growing and sustaining their business," said Kyle Kramm, Seguin Main Street & CVB Director, "The fair will feature a variety of nonprofits and government agencies that all provide services to businesses and discussions on financing and marketing."

This free event will feature numerous resource providers, a set of panel discussions made up of financial enthusiasts and local small business owners experienced in marketing, small business resource guides will be on hand for distribution and finally, there will be lots of treats from local small businesses to try.
