Texas manufacturers eye more PPP funding as Covid-19 worsens

Texas manufacturers are more uncertain about the future with Covid-19 cases rising this month throughout the state, according to the monthly survey of manufacturing executives by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.
The Dallas Fed asks executives about a myriad of issues, including uncertainty. The index measuring uncertainty regarding the companies' outlooks shot up from 9.1 in June to 20.9 in July, indicating executives are growing wary of what the coming months will bring.
