November 3, 2021 – Job Seekers looking for a change are invited to attend the New Braunfels and Seguin Regional Job Fair, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at the Seguin Coliseum located at 950 S Austin St. from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Approximately 40 employers with over 600 available positions will be present and hiring for immediate openings in a diverse range of job skills.

“The region is experiencing a need for labor, and we thought it would be a good idea to have another job fair after school was in a session to assist seasonal job seekers in finding opportunities that are available within our region,” said Holly Malish, Interim VP of Economic Development for the New Braunfels EDC.

In addition to the job fair at the McKenna Events Center, Workforce Solutions Alamo will have their staff onsite to assist job seekers with items such as creating/editing a resume, job matching, employment counseling, etc.

“Numerous Seguin and New Braunfels based employers need to fill open positions immediately in order to meet the volume of consumer demand we are seeing as we emerge from the pandemic. We hope that by partnering together for this Regional Job Fair, our employers will be able to connect with a larger audience of job seekers and address their hiring needs.” Said Josh Schneuker, Executive Director for the Seguin EDC.

Participating employers include Alamo Colleges Central Texas Technology Center, Alamo Group (TX) Inc., Altra Industrial Motion, Caterpillar, CGT U.S. Limited, Comal ISD, Community Council of South Central Texas, Detex, Farmers Insurance, Guadalupe Regional Medical Center, GVEC, Hexcel Corporation, Minigrip, Navarro ISD, Oehlke CPA, PLLC, PNC Bank, Republic Plastics, Tinker & Rasor, Tyson, and more!
