(Seguin) -  Aftermarket truck accessory manufacturer Ranch Hand is closer to opening its 400,000-square-foot facility in Seguin.

Ranch Hand plans to begin local operations by mid-fourth quarter of 2026 as construction wraps up on its newest facility, Director of Operations Hudson High said.

“That’s the official statement. We’re still on track for Q4. We’re on pace for mid-Q4,” he said.

Ranch Hand is an industry-leading truck grill guard and bumper manufacturer. Its Seguin plant is scheduled to replace manufacturing plants in Shiner and Beeville, company officials have said.

A majority of the employees working in those plants are set to make the move to work in Seguin, High said. Still, the company is supplementing the rest of its workforce with local labor, he said.

To help make that happen, the company put out the word and received a good response from folks living in the Seguin area, High said.

“We did have some hiring to do. We had a large job fair in July that was successful at the Seguin Public Library,” he said. “We’re ready to rock and roll. There are a few remaining openings but a very small quantity.”

Ranch Hand offers grill guards, bumpers, running steps, accessories and more, according to the company’s website. The company officially broke ground on the facility in September 2025 just off I-10 near the Caterpillar plant in Seguin.

Designed to approximately double Ranch Hand’s manufacturing capacity for grill guards and bumpers, the new facility will help improve product availability, reduce lead times, and support continued growth as demand for Ranch Hand products continues to increase, said Shane McNallie, senior vice president of sales for Lippert’s Automotive Division. Lippert is Ranch Hand’s parent company.

“We’re excited to become part of the Seguin community in an even bigger way,” McNallie added. “As we grow, we’re looking for hardworking people who want to build products they’re proud to put their name on. This facility isn’t just an investment in Ranch Hand. It’s an investment in the people and communities that make our success possible.”

To apply for the few remaining job openings, prospective employees should visit ranchhand.com and click on the Careers link, High said.
